Dopad Alzheimerovy choroby na osobu s demencí a rodinného pečovatele

Abstract

V diplomové práci se zabývám problematikou osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou starších 65 let, dopadu Alzheimerovy choroby na osobu s demencí a rodinného pečovatele, včetně role odlehčovací služby poskytované v domácím prostředí. Cílem práce je zformulovat, na základě šesti případových studií a jejich analýz, doporučení pro asistenty odlehčovací služby. Týkají se aktivace osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou v oblasti trávení volného času. Tato oblast je předmětem zkoumání. Prvních osm kapitol obsahuje teorii potřebnou pro vlastní zkoumání: demence, Alzheimerova choroba, symptomy, diagnostika, terapie, gerontologie, priority služeb pro seniory, činnosti a cíle České alzheimerovské společnosti s důrazem na odlehčovací službu, pocity a potřeby osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou a jejich rodinných pečovatelů, specifika komunikace a aktivace osob s Alzheimerovou chorobou, zdůvodnění a popis předmětu, metody a techniky výzkumu. Následující kapitoly obsahují analýzy případových studií, konkrétní doporučení a návrhy na propojení odlehčovací služby a předmčtu zkoumání se speciální pedagogikou. Případové studie jsou uvedeny v přílohách.

In my dissertation 1 deal with the issue of people, aged over sixty five, suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, the impact of this disease on a person with dementia and his/her family carers, including the role of respite care provided at home. The aim is to formulate, on the basis of the six case studies and their analysisses, recommendations for the assistants of respite care provided at home. The recommendations concern the activation of the clients at their leisure time. This is the research subject. The first eight chapters consist of the theory needed for the research: dementia, Alzheimer's disease, its symptoms, diagnostics, therapy, gerontology, the priorities of the services provided to seniors, the activities and the aims of The Czech Alzehimer Society, including respite care, the feelings and the needs of people with Alzheimer's disease and their family carers, the specific features of activation and communitacion with people with Alzeimer's disease, the reasons for the choice of the research subject, method and tool and their description. The following chapters consist of the analysises of the six case studies, the particular recommendations and the proposals of the interconnection of respite care with special pedagogy. The case studies are enclosed to the dissertation.
