Vzdělávací a aktivizační činnosti seniorů v zařízeních dlouhodobé péče v Plzeňském kraji

Abstract

Diploma thesis "Educational and activating activities of seniors in long-term care facilities in the Pilsen Region" in the theoretical part is devoted to the definition of old age and related aspects from the biological, psychological and social point of view. The thesis also deals with education and activation of seniors in the context of applied science discipline and organization in the Czech Republic within the framework of lifelong learning. Aspects of educational activities of seniors and specifics of their education and activation are also identified. The thesis also describes the best-known methods and techniques of seniors activation in long-term care facilities. In the empirical part, a questionnaire survey was carried out, in which the respondents were clients of retirement homes and patients of specialized hospital wards providing care to geriatric patients. At the same time, standardized interviews were conducted with workers who organize, secure or participate in activities focused on education and activation of their clients or patients. Diplomová práce "Vzdělávací a aktivizační činnosti seniorů v zařízeních dlouhodobé péče v Plzeňském kraji" se v teoretické části věnuje definici stáří a s ním spojenými aspekty z pohledu biologického, psychického i sociálního. Práce se dále věnuje vzdělávání a aktivizací seniorů v kontextu aplikované vědní disciplíny a organizace v České republice v rámci celoživotního učení. Identifikovány jsou také aspekty edukační činnosti seniorů a specifika jejich vzdělávání a aktivizace. V práci jsou také popsány nejznámější metody a techniky aktivizace seniorů v zařízeních dlouhodobé péče. V empirické části bylo realizováno dotazníkové šetření, ve kterém byli respondenti klienti domovů pro seniory a pacienti specializovaných nemocničních oddělení, která poskytují péči geriatrickým pacientům. Zároveň byly uskutečněny standardizované rozhovory s pracovníky, kteří v těchto zařízeních organizují, zabezpečují, případně participují na aktivitách, které jsou zaměřené na vzdělávání a aktivizaci jejich klientů či pacientů.
