Komparace systémů vzdělávání tlumočníků znakového jazyka v České republice a ve Velké Británii

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of sign language interpreters' education systems in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The objective is a comparison of possibilities, availability and quality of sign language interpreters' education in said countries. The thesis attempts to evaluate and define the main differences between the systems and subsequent submission of possible changes for the sign language education system in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part briefly describes the basic concepts and terminology in connection to hearing impairment that is relevant for the topic, the specifics of the Czech Sign Language, British Sign Language and International Sign as well as the comparison of sign language interpreters' education in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The research part is processed by quantitative research, specifically in the form of an anonymous survey and concentrates on the analysis of the current situation through the eyes of the interpreters themselves. The thesis output is an evaluation of the survey together with the submission of proposals for possible modifications of the current czech sign language interpreters' educational system in the Czech Republic.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací vzdělávacích systémů tlumočníků znakového jazyka v České republice a ve Velké Británii. Cílem práce je komparace možností, dostupnosti a kvality vzdělávacích systémů tlumočníků znakového jazyka ve zmíněných zemích. Práce se pokouší o zhodnocení a vymezení rozdílů mezi těmito systémy a následné předložení možností na případné úpravy systému vzdělávání tlumočníků znakového jazyka v České republice. V teoretické části této práce jsou stručně vymezeny základní pojmy a terminologie související se sluchovým postižením relevantní pro dané téma, dále pak specifika českého znakového jazyka, britského znakového jazyka a mezinárodního znakového systému, společně s porovnáním vzdělávání tlumočníků znakového jazyka v České republice a Velké Británii. Výzkumná část je zpracována pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, specificky formou anonymního dotazníkového šetření a soustředí se na analýzu současné situace očima tlumočníků samotných. Výstupem práce je vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, společně s podáním návrhů na možné úpravy současného vzdělávacího systému tlumočníků českého znakového jazyka v České republice.
