Role asistenčního psa u osob s poruchou autistického spektra

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí asistenčního psa u osob s poruchou autistického spektra a jeho přínosem. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký vliv má pes na socializaci dětí s PAS a to v rámci školy, při zájmových činnostech a jaký vliv má na fungování v rámci celé společnosti. Práce shrnuje názory sociálních pracovníků a rodičů, kteří mohou vzhledem k vlastním zkušenostem zhodnotit komplexně přínos asistenčního psa pru tuto klientskou skupinu. Práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení pojmu poruchy autistického spektra, etiologii, klasifikaci, diagnostice, oblasti rozvoje sociálních dovedností a socializace u osob s poruchami autistického spektra. Dále se věnuje tématice asistenčních psů, canisterapie, výcviku a výběru psa, organizacím, které se této skupině klientů věnují. Popisuje podrobněji činnost jedné vybrané organizace tak, aby v komplexním pohledu zachytila proces, jakým způsobem může fungovat asistenční pes a jeho výcvik u osob s PAS. Výzkumná část vymezuje cíl výzkumu, kterým je zjistit roli asistenčních psů na socializaci u osob s poruchami autistického spektra. This thesis is dealing with the role of the service dog with autism spectrum disorder and its benefit. The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of a dog on socialization in children with ASD within school, leisure activities and to determine its influence within the whole society. The thesis summarizes the opinions of social workers and parents, who can, considering their own experience, evaluate comprehensively the benefit of the service dog for this client group. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part deals with the defining the autism spectrum disorder, etiology, classification, diagnostics, areas of development of social skills and socialization in people with ASD. Further it deals with the topic of service dogs, canistherapy, training and selection of a dog, organizations that help this particular group of clients. It describes in detail the activities of one chosen organisation, so that it comprehensively captures the process in which the service dog can function and its training in the people with ASD.
