Tato diplomová práce se zabývá diskusí o archivech bývalé StB. Ukazuje, jakým způsobem jednotliví aktéři pravdivost těchto svazků zpochybňovali a naopak, jak jiní zdůvodňovali jejich pravdivost. Ke svazkům se snaží přistupovat podobně, jak studia vědy a technologií přistupují k vědeckým faktům. Archivní svazky vnímá jako surová data, z nichž interpretace skládají jejich pozdější uživatelé. Vedle této inspirace využívá nástroje, které nabízí analýza diskursu. Sleduje, jak se jednotlivé strany sporu proti sobě vymezovaly a jaké další aktéry začleňovaly do sítí, které měly potvrzovat jejich verze. Nesnaží se tento proces sledovat jen jako soutěž abstraktních diskursů, ale snaží se zohlednit roli jednotlivých promluv, překladů a kategorizací. Tuto diskusi pak rámuje do širších souvislostí takzvané přechodové spravedlnosti a diskuse o takzvané historické paměti. Spor se nevede pouze o archivy samotné, ale i o podobu StB a její pozici v komunistickém vládnutí. Proti sobě stojí interpretace badatelů, kteří důvěryhodnost archivů zakládají na pravidlech fungování a svazcích StB, a pamětníků, jejichž síť argumentů je založena na osobní zkušenosti s touto organizací. Vedle uvedených interpretů zasahují do sporu o archiv i soudní rozhodnutí. Klíčem k pochopení jednotlivých interpretací je pozice, ze které hodnotí...
The aim of this thesis is discussion about the archives of former Czechoslovak STB (State Security). It shows how some people argued about authenticity of those documents trying to prove their falseness or genuineness.This discussion is then brought into context with collective memory issues.
