Po stručném úvodu následuje kapitola, kterou tvoří básníkův životopis, historický kontext doby a stručné shrnutí zobrazování přírodních motivů v čínské poezii. Další a nejdůležitější část tvoří rozbor přírodních motivů v básních.
Thesis abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to define the way of nature depiction and the importance of this topic in the nature poetry by early medieval poet Xie Tiao. The interest is focused on the poems written during his time in Xuancheng in the years 495-497. Poems from this period are considered to be the culmination of a Xie Tiao literary career. The work consists of four parts. A brief introduction is followed by a chapter with the poet's biography, historical context of the time and a brief summary of how nature as a theme is embedded in the chinese poetry. The next and the most important part is dedicated to the analysis of the theme of nature in the poems. It is divided into four subsections according to the place the nature in the poems takes. With the help of the citation of the poems or their parts we try to present the specificity of nature theme in his poems. We also try to explain for most of the poems at least the most important and well-known literary allusions, which are essential to understanding the poem. In the conclusion we summarize the information learned.
