Proměny postavy Murasaki v díle Příběh o princi Gendžim

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá literární postavou Murasaki z díla Příběh prince Gendžiho (Gendži monogatari), které je považováno za nejstarší psychologický román. Murasaki je jednou z ústředních postav a pro hlavního hrdinu Gendžiho ztělesněním dokonalé ženy. Jejich vztah je v mnoha ohledech výjimečný. Cílem této práce je popsat a analyzovat proměny postavy Murasaki v různých fázích jejího života, a to zejména ve vztahu ke Gendžimu a k dalším postavám. Tyto proměny jsou ilustrovány na příkladech z tohoto díla.

The bachelor thesis deals with a literature character Murasaki of the Tale of Genji (Genji monogatari), which is considered to be the oldest extant psychological novel. Murasaki is one of the main characters and for Genji the embodiment of the ideal woman. Their relationship is in many ways exceptional. The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the changes of the character of Murasaki at the different stages of her life with the consideration of her relationship with Genji and other characters. The changes are illustrated by many examples taken from the book.
