Ze všech autorek se věnuji především Gertrudis Gomézové de Avellaneda a jejímu kontroverznímu románu Sab, který nejlépe vystihuje předmět této práce. In my bachelor's work I am analyzing the position of the black population within the Latin American society in the 19th century. Furthermore the topic is extenden by handling the issue of women's position in the mentioned society, which is often presented as a parallel to the problem of the black ethnic group. I have chosen to base my work primarilly on the controversial novel Sab written by Gertrudis Goméz de Avellaneda which is precisely depicting the object of this study.
