Rodinný příslušník pacienta v prostředí intenzivní péče

Abstract

Obor intenzivní a resuscitační péče se zabývá akutními stavy všech medicínských oborů a celým věkovým spektrem věku dospělého jedince. Prostředí má svá specifika a odlišnosti, které spoluurčují a determinují charakter nejen komunikace zdravotníků, sester s rodinami hospitalizovaných pacientů, ale celkové kvality spolupráce sester s příbuznými. V české odborné literatuře z oblasti intenzivní péče bylo k této problematice publikováno doposud minimum odborných prací. Cílem práce je zmapovat pohled nelékařského zdravotnického personálu zastoupeného sestrami na proces komunikace a vzájemné spolupráce s rodinnými příslušníky pacientů hospitalizovaných v prostředí intenzivní péče. Empirická část práce je zpracována formou kvalitativního výzkumu metodou polostrukturovaných interview se sestrami z pracovišť intenzivní a resuscitační péče. Provedeným výzkumem se dospělo k zjištění nedostatečné profesionální připravenosti sester v oblastech komunikace a strategii přístupu k rodinám pacientů hospitalizovaných v prostředí intenzivní péče. Palčivou oblastí je z pohledu sester také minimum informačních zdrojů, které by rodinám hospitalizovaných pacientů umožnily lépe se orientovat v prostředí intenzivní a resuscitační péče. The specialty of Intensive Care deals with acute conditions from all medical branches within the entire age spectrum of adults. This field has its own distinctive characteristics, which determine the character of not only medical personnel communication with families of hospitalized patients, but the overall quality of nurses' cooperation with relatives. In Czech professional literature in the area of intensive care there is minimum publications on this issue up to date. The task of the current thesis is to map a view of paramedical staff (nurses) on the process of communication and cooperation with family members of patients hospitalized in the intensive care units. The empirical part of the research is processed as a qualitative research by the method of semistructured interviews with nurses from the Intensive Care workplaces. As the result of this work we found inadequate professional readiness of nurses in the fields of communication strategy and approach to the families of patients hospitalized in the intensive care environment.
