This thesis details public stance relating to large carnivores such as Brown bear (Ursus arktos), Gray wolf (Canis lupus) and Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) in Czech Republic, specifically in the Bohemian Forrest region. Results of this work are based on polling of people residing in Bohemian Forrest and comparing their answers with answers to same questions given by people not residing in the region of interest. In addition to these results this work also contains general description of selected large carnivores and their state as endangered species and resulting legal protection.
