106 Résumé INHERITANCE TITLES IN MODERN PRIVATE LAW Law of succession is an important part of proprietary law. If succession law did not exist, proprietary law would be weakened and would lose its motivating function. When a proprietor passes away, there is a need to deal with the inheritance. In our civilization background, there is no free occupation of the inheritance. The procedure of property settlement after decease describes law of succession. The crucial aim of this thesis is to involve all crucial aspects in the succession law. That is why I tried to describe all substantial terms connected with the testaments and the non testimonial succession. At the beginning of this work I situated a brief historical explanation of the succession law with a special respect to important legal institutions such as succession agreement and legacy, which are included in the new proposal of the Civil Code. The core of this work consists in the current legal regulation of the succession law in the Czech Republic using, among others, also examples from the notary practice which better illustrate the whole matter in question. Besides, in the particular chapters of the thesis is included the proposed regulation involved in the up to date proposal of the Civil Code if the proposal differs from the effective regulation....
