Diplomová práce poskytuje obraz esperantského hnutí v Československu po druhé světové válce až do začátku normalizace ve světle ústředních esperantských periodik. Toto období prolnula existence SE ČSR, éra esperantismu udržovaná mladými esperantisty a esperantisty obránci míru a nakonec esperantský orgán Ministerstva školství a kultury, Československý esperantský výbor. V práci je vyzdvihnuta funkčně - organizační stránka esperantského hnutí, klíčové události a jsou charakterizovány nejzajímavější esperantské akce (např. Letní školy esperanta). K ucelenějšímu obrazu historie hnutí té doby slouží pohyb československých esperantistů na světových esperantských kongresech a neméně zajímavý vztah esperanta a Společnosti národů.
