Abstract

Odklad plodnosti v Česku na regionální úrovni v období 1996-2022 Abstrakt Cílem této bakalářské práce je popis a analýza odkladu plodnosti v Česku na úrovni správních obvodů obcí s rozšířenou působností (SO ORP) mezi obdobími 1996-2000, 2007-2011 a 2018-2022. Analýza hodnotí odklad plodnosti na regionální úrovni, jak z hlediska změny intenzity plodnosti, tak také jejího časování. V první části práce jsou shrnuty dosavadní teoretické poznatky ohledně reprodukčního stárnutí a příčin a následků s ním souvisejících. Druhá, praktická, část je zaměřena na samotnou analýzu vývoje reprodukce v Česku na regionální úrovni. V ní jsou využity ukazatele úhrnné plodnosti a průměrného věku matky při narození dítěte, především s důrazem na první pořadí. Analýza je také doplněna o objem poklesu a nárůstu plodnosti mezi obdobími 1996-2000 a 2018-2022 a výsledným indexem oživení. K vizualizaci slouží kartografické prostředky a grafy regionálního rozložení mezi jednotlivými obdobími. Výsledky praktické části potvrzují, že ve všech zkoumaných oblastech dochází k odkladu plodnosti a nárůstu průměrného věku prvorodiček, avšak v jednotlivých SO ORP v různé intenzitě. Fertility postponement in Czechia at the regional level in the period 1996-2022 Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe and analyse fertility postponement in Czechia at the level of administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers (SO ORP) between the periods 1996-2000, 2007-2011 and 2018-2022. The analysis assesses fertility postponement at the regional level, both in terms of changes in fertility intensity and its timing. The first part of the thesis summarizes the existing theoretical knowledge regarding reproductive aging and its causes and consequences. The second, practical part, is focused on the analysis of reproductive development in Czechia at the regional level. It uses indicators of total fertility rate and average age of the mother at childbirth, with a focus on the first child. The analysis is also complemented by the magnitude of fertility decline and increase between 1996-2000 and 2018-2022 and the resulting recovery index. Cartographic means and graphs of the regional distribution between the periods are used for visualization. The results of the practical part confirm that in all the regions studied there is a postponement of fertility and an increase in the average age of first births, but at different intensities in each region.
