Abstract

Fertility planning of czech women in the context of preference theory Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out, if the different preferences of Czech women are reflected in family planning, in terms of timing and intensity of fertility. The theoretical part of the thesis present theoretical concepts of fertility differentiation. Such as the second demographic transition and preference theory. First it deals with these concepts in general in Europe and then deals with their applications in the Czech Republic. The analytical part operates with data from sample survey Women 2016. First women are divided according to the typology of preference theory. Then with the help of analysis of contingency tables and descriptive characteristics of the data, finding out what is the relationship between the preferences of Czech women and the timing and intensity of fertility. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between the preferences of Czech women and the intensity and timing of their fertility on the data from sample survey Women 2016. Plánování plodnosti českých žen v kontextu preferenční teorie Abstrakt Cílem této bakalářské práce je nalézt, zda se odlišné preference českých žen odrážejí v plánování rodičovství, a to z hlediska časování a intenzity plodnosti. Teoretická část práce představuje teoretické koncepty diferenciace plodnosti. To jsou druhý demografický přechod a preferenční teorie. Nejdříve se zabývá těmito koncepty obecně v Evropě a následně se věnuje jejich aplikacím na území České republiky. Analytická část pracuje s daty z výběrového šetření Ženy 2016. Nejdříve si rozdělí ženy dle typologie preferenční teorie. Následně za pomoci analýzy kontingenčních tabulek a popisné charakteristiky dat zjišťuje, jaký je mezi preferencemi českých žen a časováním a intenzitou plodnosti vztah. Výsledky analýzy ukazují, že mezi preferencemi českých žen a intenzitou i časováním jejich plodnosti se podařilo na datech výběrového šetření Ženy 2016 prokázat vztah.
