De l'Intuition à la Cosmologie : La Philosophie du Mouvement d'Henri Bergson

Abstract

In Bergson's philosophy, movement is not only an important notion, but Bergson's philosophy itself is presented as a thought-movement: The movement has a metaphilosophical dimension in Bergson, which shows us a movement of enlargement to the universe. Therefore, our research aims at studying Bergson's philosophy dedicated to the theme of movement. More specifically, we want to grasp this movement in its two dimensions as a double unity in « Matter and memory » : the unity of all dimensions of reality unified by movement, and the Bergsonian philosophy as a great unity. Résumé Dans la philosophie de Bergson, le mouvement n'est pas seulement une notion importante, de plus, la philosophie de Bergson elle-même est présentée comme une pensée-mouvement : le mouvement a une dimension métaphilosophique chez Bergson qui nous affiche un mouvement d'élargissement jusqu'à l'univers. Donc notre recherche prétend étudier la philosophie de Bergson dédiée au thème du mouvement. Plus particulièrement, nous voulons saisir ce mouvement dans ces deux dimensions comme une unité double dans Matière et mémoire : l'unité de toutes les dimensions du réel unifiées par le mouvement, et la philosophie bergsonienne comme une grande unité.
