Komentovaný překlad: Michael Cox, Learning for History? From Soviet Collapse to the "New" Cold War. In Cold War History, Vol 14, 2014/4, p. 461-484

Abstract

The author of this theses aims to translate an essay called Learning from History? From Soviet Collapse to the "new" Cold War written by Michael Cox and published in the Cold War History in 2014 from English into Czech. The translation is followed by theoretical part, specifically by annotation of the translation, which includes source text analysis, fictious assignment and overall method of translation, translation problems and typology of translation methods and shifts. Cílem práce je překlad odborného článku Michaela Coxe Learning from History? From Soviet Collapse to the "new" Cold War publikovaného v periodiku Cold War History v roce 2014 z angličtiny do češtiny. Po samotném překladu následuje teoretická část, konkrétně komentář překladu, který obsahuje analýzu výchozího textu, fiktivní zadání a metodu překladu, překladatelské problémy a také typologii překladatelských postupů a posunů.
