This thesis focuses on communication in groups of children. The main attention is put on intact children and children with disabilities. My work deals primarily with the components of non-verbal communication, alternative and augmentative communication. I focus on children at school age, on their ability to communicate and on their skills of working in the group. I monitor interactions at the level of children and the group leader and at the level between children themselves. The aim of the work is to observe the common, different and specific features of communication in groups of children. Keywords communication, intact children, children with disabilities, group
