Autor a autorství ve fotografii v první polovině 20. století v českých zemích

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the concepts of author and authorship in the photography of the Czech lands in the first half of the 20th century, taking into account the international influence, essential from the perspective of the development of photography in this region. This given era became a fruitful and manifold stage of development of the "fine art" photography and of the interest in the photographer himself. The thesis starts by giving a brief evaluation of the changing role of a photographer as an author since the very invention of photography. It then focuses on pictorialism and via the beginnings of modern photography moves on to discuss the avant-garde. In each particular development period the thesis finds outstanding authors as well as specific issues related to the subject matter of authorship, and by means of that also points out the power of an individual who is able to influence an entire generational movement. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o autorovi a autorství ve fotografii 1. poloviny 20. století v českých zemích, s reflektováním mezinárodních vlivů, které jsou z hlediska vývoje fotografie na našem území neopomenutelné. Zmíněné časové období se stalo plodnou a rozmanitou etapou pro rozvoj "umělecké" fotografie a s tím spojeného zájmu o osobnost autora. Práce začíná velmi stručným zhodnocením proměnlivé role autora ve fotografii od počátku jejího vynálezu, dále plynule přechází k piktorialismu a přes počátky moderní fotografie se dostává k avantgardě. V každé vývojové etapě fotografie práce nachází výrazné osobnosti i specifickou problematiku týkající se autorského tématu a tím rovněž poukazuje na sílu jedince, který dokáže ovlivnit celé generační hnutí. Skrze vývoj jednotlivých autorů (Drahomír Josef Růžička, František Drtikol, Josef Sudek, Jaromír Funke, Eugen Wiškovský, Jindřich Štýrský), se zároveň snaží prokázat, že každé stylové období v historii fotografie má svůj specifický význam pro její další vývoj; přestože je tento význam jednotlivými autory často zpětně popírán. Práce se také snaží nastínit rozdíl mezi inspirací a plagiátorstvím. Práce si neklade za cíl postihnout celé dílo jednotlivých autorů, ale má vypichovat jejich autorsky výrazná období v kontextu s jejich životním rozpoložením. V...
