La Gestion des Lieux de Mémoire de la Communauté Juive, entre Conflits et Collaborations : Cas du Marais Parisien

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zaměří na výzkum prezentace historie židovské komunity Marais v Paříži prostřednictvím prohlídek s výkladem o její historii. Po několika vlnách migrací pocházejících z různých částí světa je le Marais vnímána především jako židovská čtvrť. Díky svým četným památkám a muzeím spojeným s židovskou komunitou a jejími folklórními obchody je le Marais židovskou čtvrtí Paříže pro mnoho Pařížanů a turistů. Díky výzkumu historiků, sociologů a antropologů však uvidíme, že přítomnost této židovské komunity není tak silná, jak bychom si představovali. Kromě své bohaté historie byl okres jedním z prvních chráněných jako celek díky novému zákonu o ochraně kulturního a historického dědictví. Použitím těchto dat a díky případové studii prohlídky s průvodcem v le Marais uvidíme, proč je okres obzvláště vhodný pro prohlídky židovské historie s průvodcem a jak jeho složitost dovoluje průvodci ji používat mnoha různými způsoby.

The research of this Master thesis will focus on the guided tours telling the history of the jewish community of the Marais in Paris. Following several waves of migrations coming from different parts of the world, le Marais is seen primarily as a jewish district. With its numerous monuments and museums linked to the jewish community and its folkloric shops, le Marais is the jewish district of Paris for many Parisians and tourists. However, thanks to the research of historians, sociologists and anthropologists, we will see that the presence of this jewish community is not as strong as one would imagine. Besides its rich history, the district was one of the first to be protected as a whole thanks to a new law protecting the heritage. Using these datas plus a case-study of guided tours in le Marais, we will see why the district is particularly suited to guided tours about its jewish history and how its complexity allows the guide to use it in many different ways.
