Cyklus Pod klášterní révou Elina Pelina a jeho souvislosti se Studní svaté Kláry Anatola France

Abstract

Cílem této práce bylo na základě rozporuplných tvrzení bulharské literární kritiky o shodných rysech knih Pod manastirskata loza Elina Pelina a Le Puits de Sainte Claire Anatola France tato dvě díla porovnat a určit jejich vzájemný vztah. Podrobná žánrová analýza obou knih ukázala, že se tato díla liší. Elin Pelin ve svých legendárních povídkách představuje svůj ideální model světa (potažmo svět představ prosté víry bulharského člověka). Bulharský spisovatel své příběhy staví na ději, pomocí něj čtenáři demonstruje svou pravdu, o které je přesvědčen. Kniha Le Puits de Sante Claire je nehomogenní, příběhy lze rozdělit do dvou skupin - první z nich je poznamenána Franceovými parnasistními počátky, příběhy v ní obsažené jsou efektně zpracovaná podání přitažlivých námětů, ve kterých se odráží tehdejší čistě estetický postoj autora k tvorbě (který je v rozporu s pOjetím Elina Pelina), povídky druhé části jsoLJ už plné filozofických úvah a monologů, ve kterých Anatole France zaujímá angažovaný postoj, charakteristický pro jeho vrcholná díla. Staví se ostře nejen proti fanatickým a dogmatickým projevům náboženství jako Elin Pelin, ale proti víře jako takové. Čtenáře však Anatole France přímo nepoučuje, tak jak to činí bulharský spisovatel v závěru svých povídek, pouze mu demonstruje, jak je jakákOliV "pravda"...

On the basis of the contradictory opinions of Bulgarian critics, the objective of this study was to compare the short story cycle Under the monastery vine by Elin Pelin and The We/l of Saint Clare by Anatole France and to determine their relation. Detailed analyse of the books revealed the significant difference. Elin Pelin in the legendary stories presents his model of the ideal world (the world of the fantasy of the common faith of Bulgarian people). Bulgarian writer demonstrates the truth he is convinced of to the reader by basing the narrative on the plot. The We/l af Saint Clare is not a homogeneous book, it can be devided into two parts, where the first part deals with the impressive themes that are remarked by the parnasist beginnings of Anatole France (his pure aesthetical attitude towards writing is at variance with the attitude of Elin Pelin). The stories of the second part are full of philosophical meditations and monologues, in which a french writer takes the engaged position, characteristic for his supreme works. He is not only against the fanatic and dog matic manifestations of the religion like Elin Pelin, but he is also against the faith as such.
