Abstract

Vývoj regionální diferenciace úmrtnosti na sebevraždy v České republice v období 1994-2013 Abstrakt Cílem práce bylo najít a popsat změny v regionální diferenciaci úmrtnosti na sebevraždy v okresech České republiky v období 1994-2013. Vzhledem k rozdílné úrovni úmrtnosti na sebevraždy mezi pohlavími byla prováděna analýza samostatně pro obě pohlaví. Úroveň úmrtnosti na sebevraždy byla zkoumána především skrze standardizované míry úmrtnosti na sebevraždu, dále přes index maskulinity sebevražednosti a podílu sebevrahů, kteří zvolili metodu oběšení, (u)škrcení a (za)dušení. Tyto ukazatelé umožnily regionální srovnání, jehož celkové výsledky vykazují pokles standardizované míry sebevražednosti v Česku oproti stavu v polovině 90. let, ačkoliv lze v některých regionech zaznamenat nárůst. Development of regional variations in suicide mortality in the Czech Republic in the period 1994-2013 Abstract The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to identify the development of regional variations in suicide mortality in the Czech Republic in the period 1994-2013. In view of the fact that the level of suicide mortality is different between genders, was the analysis carried out individually for each sex. The level of suicide mortality was researched through age-standardized suicide mortality rates, index of masculinity of suicides and rate of selfmurderers who chose hanging, strangulation or asphyxiation. These indicators enabled a regional comparison, which total results indicate the decrease of the age-standardized suicide mortality in the Czech Republic against the level in the second half of the nineties.
