| dc.description.abstract | The present bachelor thesis comprises of two main parts - the translation from English to Czech and the commentary on it. The source texts are selected chapters from the book Skeptic by Michael Shermer, which were originally published as individual essays and deal with psychological phenomena from the skeptical point of view. The commentary consists of the analysis of the source text, description of the selected method of translation, typology of translation problems and translation shifts which occurred during the translation process. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, a to z překladu textu z angličtiny do češtiny a následného komentáře. Výchozím textem jsou vybrané kapitoly z knihy Skeptic Michaela Shermera, které jsou původně samostatnými eseji a pojednávají o psychologických jevech ze skeptického úhlu pohledu. Komentář se sestává z analýzy výchozího textu. Jeho další části jsou pak věnovány popisu zvolené metody překladu, rozboru konkrétních problémů v překladu a překladatelským posunům, které během překladu vznikly. | cs_CZ |
