DONAČNÍ A POLITICKÁ ČINNOST BURGUNDSKÉ VÉVODKYNĚ ALIX Z VERGY V LETECH 1206-1251 OČIMA JEJÍCH LISTIN

Abstract

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu dochovaných listin a korespondence burgundské vévodkyně Alix z Vergy. Práce mapuje politickou a donační činnost vévodkyně v letech 1206-1251 právě na základě tohoto typu pramenů. Analyzuje jednotlivé listiny a dopisy a následně v nich reflektuje dobové dění a také osobnost burgundské vévodkyně. V první části jsou stručně nastíněny dobové reálie burgundského prostoru a důležitost reformovaných řádů pro oblast. Rovněž vláda vévodů Huga III. a Oda III. a také životní osudy Alix z Vergy od manželky Oda III. přes regentku až k postavení matky vládnoucího burgundského vévody. V nové kapitole práce nastiňuje pohled na postavení středověkých žen, problematiku jejich práv, disponování mocí a svobodnou vůlí. V druhé části se již práce věnuje rozboru listin a korespondence Alix z Vergy v jednotlivých obdobích života. Diplomová práce rekonstruuje na základě pramenů míru její politické moci, nezávislosti a svobodného rozhodování napříč životem. Součástí práce je komparace analýzy listinného materiálu vévodkyně s korespondencí a listinami královny Eleonory Akvitánské. Práce rovněž komparuje mocenské postavení a osobnost Alix z Vergy nejen s Eleonorou, ale také s francouzskou královnou Blankou Kastilskou, žijící ve stejné době. Klíčová slova: Alix z Vergy,...

Submitted diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of preserved documents and correspondence of the Duchess of Burgundy Alix of Vergy. The thesis surveys the political and donational pursuit of the duchess during the years 1206-1251 just on the basis of this kind of sources. The thesis analyzes individual documents and letters and subsequently reflects in them the events of the time period and the personality of the Duchess of Burgundy. In the first part are briefly outlined the realities of the burgundian region during this time period and the importance of the reformed orders for the area. Outlined is also the rule of dukes Hugh III. and Odo III. and also the life events of Alix of Vergy from being the wife of Odo III., through being the regent up to the position of mother of the ruling Duke of Burgundy. In the new chapter the thesis outlines the view on the role of medieval women, issue of their rights and disposal of power and free will. In the second part the thesis deals with the analysis of documents and correspondence of Alix of Vergy in particular periods of life. The diploma thesis on the basis of the source reconstructs the extent of her political power, independence and free decision-making throughout her life.
