Specifita nutričních potřeb geriatrických pacientů

Abstract

Bakalářská práce s názvem Specifita nutričních potřeb geriatrických pacientů se věnuje problematice výživy ve stáří a zejména výživě geriatrických jedinců, kteří jsou zvláštní pacientkou skupinou. Hlavním smyslem práce je upozornit na zkoumanou problematiku. Tato je vzhledem k narůstajícímu počtu geriatrických pacientů v současné době velice aktuální. Práce se člení na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny klíčové poj- my, popsány dietní systémy a tamtéž je nastíněno tuzemské populační směrování a prostor je věnován i ge- riatrickému lůžkovému fondu. Praktická část porovnává přístupy k výživě geriatrických pacientů popsané ve vybraných českých publikacích a diety reálně poskytované geriatrickým pacientům v ČR. Pro tyto účely byla vybrána dvě geri- atrická pracoviště - Geriatrická klinika Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice v Praze a Oddělení geriatrie a násled- né péče Thomayerovy nemocnice. Sledovány byly zejména hodnoty vztahující se k příjmu energie, bílkovin, sacharidů, tuků, vitaminu D a minerálních látek vápníku, železa a zinku. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky praktické části. The final thesis The Specificity of Geriatric Patients' Nutritional Needs deals with the issue of nutrition at old age and foremost of nutrition of geriatric individuals. These form a special group of patients. The main meaning of this thesis is to report on the investigated issue. This is nowadays due to the ri- sing number of the geriatric patients a very current topic. The thesis has two parts - the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with the elucidation of the key terms, description of the diet systems and outlining of the demographical development in the Czech Republic. The thesis also describes the hospital bed capacities for geriatric patients. The practical part compares the approaches to the geriatric patients nutrition described in the domes- tic publications and the diets really provided to the geriatric patients in the Czech Republic. For these pur- poses, two geriatric workplaces were chosen - Clinic of Geriatrics of General University Hospital in Prague and The Department of Geriatrics at the Thomayer Hospital. The focus of the comparison was mainly on the values related to the intake of energy, proteins, saccharides, fats, vitamin D and calcium, iron and zinc mine- rals.
