Možnosti a limity péče v dětském domově a model jedné alternativy

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociálně právní ochrany dětí v České republice. Konkrétně možnostmi péče o děti, které musí být umístěny mimo rodinu. Mapuje všechny současné možnosti péče o tyto děti, legislativu, která k daným typům zařízení patří, a ukazuje systém financování těchto zařízení. Na základě rešerší z odborné literatury uvádí nejčastější důvody, které vedou sociální pracovníky k umístění dítěte mimo rodinu. Detailněji popisuje práci a fungování dětských domovů. V teoretické časti práce je zároveň nastíněn historický vývoj péče o děti bez funkčního rodinného zázemí v naší republice, příklady dobré praxe z Francie a příklad reformních snah na Slovensku. K tématu péče o děti se pojí téma naplňování vývojových potřeb dítěte. Práce ukazuje i různé psychologické teorie, které se týkají vývojových potřeb dítěte. Výzkumná část sleduje, jak jsou v jednom dětském domově naplňovány potřeby dítěte. A to z hlediska pracovníků zařízení, rodičů, jejichž děti jsou zde umístěny, a mladých dospělých, kteří prošli tímto typem péče. Na základě shrnutí těchto poznatků a poznatků z teoretické časti je navržen model péče o děti v dětském domově. Práce zároveň ukazuje, pro které děti a za jakých podmínek může být tento typ péče vhodnou variantou.

This thesis concerns the problems connected with the legal protection of children in the Czech Republic. In particular it focuses on possibilities of taking care of children who are forced to live out of the family. All contemporary possibilities how to care about such children as well as legislative of these amenities are surveyed and financial system of these is introduced. Based on background professional research, the most common reasons for placing children out of their own families are presented. Work and function of homes for children are described in further details. The theoretical part offers the view into historical development of taking care of Czech children without any stable and functioning family background, some good experience examples from France and samples of endeavour to remedy the situation in Slovakia are mentioned. The inner part of the thesis is the issue concerning not only wide variety of psychological theories but also the satisfaction of children development needs. Research part traces fulfilling children development needs in a particular children home taking into consideration the point of view of the staff, the parents whose children were placed there and the youngsters who were cared about.
