Rímske strieborné nádoby v stredoeurópskom barbariku

Abstract

V tejto diplomovej práci budeme skúmať rímske strieborné nádoby a ich germánske imitácie, ktoré boli objavené na území stredoeurópskeho barbarika. Súčasťou prvej kapitoly je stručné uvedenie do skúmanej problematiky spolu so stanovením územného a časového rámca, v ktorom sa budeme pohybovať. Druhá kapitola je venovaná všeobecným informáciám o ťažbe a spracovaní striebra, výrobným a výzdobným technikám použitým pri vytváraní strieborných nádob, ako aj základným informáciám o rímskom stolovacom servise. V tretej kapitole bude stručne pojednaný aktuálny stav bádania o rímskych strieborných nádobách, pričom podrobnému súpisu a analýze jednotlivých nálezov bude venovaná celá štvrtá kapitola. V piatej kapitole budú popísané nálezy následne zosumarizované a interpretované, na čo nadviažu závečné postrehy a zistenia v poslednej kapitole. K textovej časti tejto práce je na záver pripojený katalóg nálezov, zoznam citovanej literatúry, tabuľka, mapa a obrazová príloha. In this diploma thesis we shall analyze Roman silver vessels and their German imitations which were discovered on the territory of Central European barbaricum. In the first chapter, there is a brief introduction into the examined topic along with a definition of spatial and chronological frame within which we shall operate. The second chapter is devoted to the general information about mining and processing of silver, manufacturing and decorative techniques used in manufacturing of silver vessels, as well as to the basic information about Roman tableware. In the third chapter, we shall summarize the actual state of research on Roman silver vessels, while the fourth chapter will be devoted to the detailed list and analysis of individual finds. In the fifth chapter, the described finds will be summarized and interpreted, and consequently completed by the final remarks and findings in the last chapter. The catalogue of the finds, bibliography of cited literature, table, map and illustrations is attached to the textual part of this work.
