Dvojí poetika autorského divadla: Semafor a Studio Ypsilon

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem divadel malých forem, která představovala generační proud, jenž se začal v českém kulturním prostředí rozvíjet v 50. letech minulého století. Práce si klade za cíl nastínit svébytnou poetiku dvou českých divadel malých scén - Semaforu a Studia Ypsilon, a to na základě analýzy vybraných stěžejních původních dramatických textů jejich čelních představitelů, Jiřího Suchého a Jana Schmida. V úvodu práce se věnujeme proudu divadel malých forem, jejich vymezení a charakteristice. Pro ucelený pohled na problematiku je práce doplněna o pojednání o autorském divadle a jeho specifických rysech. V hlavní části práce se zaměřujeme na počátky obou divadel, dále pak na 60. až 90. léta a na jejich současnou tvář. I přes odlišné existenční podmínky obou divadel, kulturně-historický a politický kontext, se v závěru práce pokoušíme porovnat jejich poetiky. The diploma thesis focuses on small scene theaters which developed in the 1950s and represent a unique generational movement within the Czech cultural framework. This final project aims to describe the distinctive poetics of two of the Czech small theaters - the theatre Semafor and Studio Ypsilon. The description itself is based on the analysis of the original dramatic texts produced by their main representatives, Jiří Suchý and Jan Schmid. The thesis opens with the domain of the small scene theaters as such, its definition and characteristics. In order to provide a comprehensive perspective on the matter, the authorial theater and its specifics is further discussed. The main part of this thesis then concentrates on the origins of the two theaters, their profiles during the period of 1960s to 1990s and, eventually, their present form. Finally, despite the different conditions of existence of the two theaters, and the cultural, historical and political context, a comparison of the two poetics is proposed.
