Zákon v listech apoštola Pavla

Abstract

V první kapitole se tato diplomová práce zaměřuje na historická východiska. Vysvětluje pojem Zákon a jeho chápání v židovské tradici a popisuje, jak se k Zákonu stavěli první křesťané. Dále se věnuje vybraným Pavlovým listům a zmiňuje okolnosti jejich vzniku. Ve druhé kapitole se věnuje konkrétním úryvkům z Pavlových listů, které pojednávají o Zákonu nebo o jiných souvisejících tématech. S pomocí biblických komentářů a další odborné literatury se snaží tyto úryvky vyložit. Dílčí poznatky jsou poté shrnuty do uceleného pojednání o Pavlově pojetí Zákona. Ve třetí kapitole je Pavlův přístup nejprve srovnán s pohledem Židů. Krátce je popsáno, jak podle evangelií přistupoval k Zákonu Ježíš, a jeho přístup je porovnán s Pavlovým. Práce se dále zabývá pohledem pozdějších novozákonních spisů na Zákon a zmiňuje shody a rozdíly ve vztahu k Pavlovi.

The Law in the letters of the Apostle Paul This thesis is devoted to the Pauline understanding of the Mosaic Law. The first chapter describes the historic circumstances: the meaning of the word "Law" and the understanding of the Law in the Jewish tradition and in the early Christianity. The second chapter of this work analyses the most important passages of Paul's letters which deal with the Law or with other connected topics. In the third chapter Paul's conception of the Law is compared with the Jewish one. Finally, the Pauline conception of the Law is confronted with the understanding of the Law in the later texts of the New Testament.
