Kůň a jeho jezdec: ustavování aktérů interakce

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the horse-human relationship. It strives for answering the question how horse and human enact within this relationship and mutual interaction as the actors, which means active subjects that can participate in the relationship. The text tries to analyse how this relationship is influenced by other non-humans, such as the objects in the stable or the literature about horses. The text explores this through the lens of chosen theoretical and methodological concepts (the multispecies ethnography, Eduardo Kohn's anthropology of life or anthropology beyond the human, Donna Haraway's research of the non-humans and especially Bruno Latour's symmetrical anthropology and actor-network theory) that reach beyond the human and contain animals, objects and other non-humans. The research is based on participant observation and semi-structured interviews with the stable member. The analysis shows that the conditions of the horse-human relationship are mostly defined by the human. The human sets up the barriers within witch the horse can interfere partly (and probably unintentionally) in the mutual relationship by its reactions. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vztah koně a člověka. Snaží se odpovědět na otázku, jak se v rámci tohoto vztahu a vzájemné interakce kůň a člověk ustavují jakožto aktéři, tedy jako aktivní subjektivity, schopné do tohoto vztahu zasahovat. Text se rovněž snaží analyzovat, jak do tohoto vztahu zasahují další mimo-lidští aktéři, tedy různé věcné objekty, které jsou součástí stáje, nebo literatura, která o koních a lidech pojednává. Na tento problém je pohlíženo optikou několika teoreticko-metodologických směrů (mnohodruhové etnografie, antropologie života či antropologie nad rámec lidského Eduarda Kohna, výzkumu companion species Donny Haraway a zvláště symetrické antropologie a teorie sítí-aktérů Bruna Latoura), které rozšiřují svůj pohled za rámec lidského a do okruhu svého zájmu zahrnují také zvířata, věcné objekty a další mimo-lidské entity. Výzkum byl proveden na základě zúčastněného pozorování ve vybrané stáji a rozhovorů s lidskými členy stáje. Analýza takto získaných informací ukazuje, že podmínky vztahu mezi koněm a člověkem jsou převážně určovány člověkem. Ten rovněž vymezuje koni prostor, v rámci kterého může kůň do vzájemného vztahu částečně (a pravděpodobně nezáměrně) zasahovat, a to svými reakcemi.
