Sociální politika ČR v profesním uplatnění lidí dlouhodobě pečujících o osobu blízkou

Abstract

Subject of this bachelor thesis is social status of parents who long-term care of their mentally disabled children. This sort of handicap requires and assumes permanent and regular care that is very difficult to combine with an employment. That usually leads to resignation on their professional career. When the child has grown-up and he/she can become by involvement professional social services gradually and naturally more self-dependent, it is very difficult for carers to find appropriate job. They may be socially trapped through governmental care allowance, because it prevents them from combination of their own care with professional social services. Aim of this thesis is identify needs of carers necessary for their re-employment and to propose legislative changes that would support them in their efforts. Předmětem této bakalářské práce je sociální situace rodičů, kteří se dlouhodobě starají o své dítě s mentálním postižením. Charakter tohoto typu postižení si vyžaduje a předpokládá trvalou a pravidelnou péči, kterou lze velmi těžko skloubit se zaměstnáním, což obvykle vede k rezignaci na jejich profesní uplatnění. V období dospělosti, kdy může díky profesionálním sociálním službám dojít k postupnému a přirozenému osamostatnění dětí s postižením, je pro pečující rodiče velmi obtížné opět se pracovně začlenit. Prostřednictvím příspěvku na péči mohou uvíznout v sociální pasti, která jim brání doplňovat náročnou péči využitím sociálních služeb. Cílem práce je identifikovat potřeby pečujících osob při opětovném pracovním uplatnění a navrhnout legislativní opatření, která by jim byla nápomocná.
