Název práce: Změny plodnosti v kontextu genderové revoluce se zaměřením na roli muže v rodině v České republice Autor: Mgr. Abstrakt: Společnosti i rodiny v Evropě procházejí významnými změnami ve vz- tazích mezi muži a ženami. Tyto změny jsou dnes souhrnně nazývány genderovou revolucí. Vzhledem k bezprecedentnímu poklesu plodnosti v posledních letech je relevantní si klást otázku, zda a případně jak tento pokles souvisí se změnami ve vztazích. Může znamenat více rovnostářská společnost/rodina v důsledku i více narozených dětí? Jaký vliv na výsledný počet dětí mají konkrétně zapojení muže v domácnosti a jeho pomoc s péčí o děti? Česká společnost vykazuje rovnostářské tendence, ale ty se zatím projevují spíše v názorech, než v běžné realitě rodin a domácností. Využili jsme dvou vln panelového šetření Generations & Gender Sur- vey (GGS) provedených v České republice a informaci o reálném zapojení mužů v domácnostech jsme porovnali s reálně narozenými dětmi mezi vlnami. Obojí je velký benefit dat GGS oproti obdobným studiím: není potřeba vycházet pouze z hodnotových postojů k genderové rovnosti či pouze ze záměrů o počtech dětí, ale k dispozici je přímo skutečný stav. Abstract: Profound changes are occurring in the relations between men and women in European families and societies, a transformation that is referred to as the 'gender revolution'. Considering the unprecedented drop in fertility, some important questions may be asked: in a more egalitarian society/family, could we expect a rise in the birth rate? Does men's participation in housework and child- care have an impact on the number of children born (in a family)? Czech society is slowly adapting to gender equality, but this is more apparent in the general mood and opinions than in the reality of households and families. We drew on two waves of a panel study Generations & Gender Survey (GGS) performed in the Czech republic and compared the information about the real involvement of men in households in which (a number of) children were born in between the waves.
