Bc. Veronika Vopelková Osud čarodějů: animismus a tradiční léčitelství v Kamerunu Abstrakt Tradiční kultury a náboženství mizí a asimilují se do dominantních kultur po celém světě. Globalizace zastihla již všechna etnika Afriky. Kamerunský Grassfield nicméně stále patří k těm, kde se dochovaly rozmanité zvyky a rituály. V minulosti fondom Kedjom Keku - dnes obec Big Babanki se stala předmětem zájmu této antropologické práce. Cílem je porozumět a popsat současný stav tradičního náboženství obyvatel této vesnice. Ke komparaci s původní podobou jednotlivých religiózních fenoménů slouží řada publikací, výzkumů i rozhovorů s pamětníky. Práce staví na terénním výzkumu, participačním pozorování, rozhovorech a dotaznících. Pozornost zde upírám na víru v Kedjom bohy, duchy, vlivné duše předků a soudobé oslavy smrti, magii a čarodějnictví, moc amuletů, spirituální moc dvojčat a tajných společností. Vzhledem k četnosti výskytu obvinění z čarodějnictví je toto téma rozpracováno taktéž v obecné rovině s ohledem na lid Kedjom Keku i celý Grassfield. Jelikož spojení s nadpřirozeným světem není doménou pouze čarodějů a čarodějnic, ale tyto služby mohou být považovány za užitečné, pochází-li od místních šamanů, orientoval se tento výzkum i na víru a činnost tradičních léčitelů. Bc. Veronika Vopelková The Fate of Witches: Animism and Traditional Healing in Cameroon Abstract Traditional culture and religion disappear and assimilate into the dominant cultures around the world. Globalization has affected all ethnic groups in Africa. Cameroonian Grassfield is still among those which have been preserved diverse customs and rituals. In the past, the Fondom Kedjom Keku - today, village Big Babanki became the focus of this anthropological work. The aim is to understand and describe the current state of the traditional religion of the inhabitants of this village. For comparison with the original form of each religious phenomena serves a number of publications, researches and interviews with witnesses. This work is based on my field research, participatory observation, interviews and questionnaires. My attention is fixed on a belief in Kedjom gods, spirits, souls of ancestors and contemporary celebration of death, magic and witchcraft, supernatural power of amulets, spiritual power of twins and secret societies. Considering the frequency of allegations of witchcraft, this theme is also elaborated in general view with regard to the Kedjom Keku people and the whole Grassfield.
