Sociologická analýza sexuality v současných českých hraných filmech

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje ze sociologické perspektivy sexualitu v současných českých hraných filmech. Filmové médium patří v sociologii mezi marginální oblast výzkumu, zvláště v české akademické sféře. Práce se proto pokouší přesvědčit, že je opodstatněné se tomuto fenoménu věnovat s mnohem větší intenzitou, jelikož daný výzkum může přinést velmi podnětné výsledky. Práce mapuje historii a teorii přístupů sociologie k filmu. Dále vymezuje svůj teoreticko-analytický pohled na lidskou sexualitu. Vychází ze sociální konstrukce reality a zároveň odmítá biologický determinismus. Teoretické ukotvení je vytvořeno z inspiračních myšlenek autorů, kterými jsou Michel Foucault, Jefrey Weeks, Pierre Bourdieu a v neposlední řadě Laury Mulvey. Z tohoto teoretického základu buduje následnou metodologickou a analytickou část. Ve filmech se pokouší práce odkrývat dominantní maskulinní a heterosexuální ideologii. Na popisu vybraných scén analyzuje jakými mechanismy (kamera, střih, mizanscéna…) film konstruuje sexualitu a jak v nich funguje daná ideologie. Odhaluje nerovnosti v reprezentaci ženské a mužské sexuality, a také mezi heterosexuální a homosexuální orientací.

The following bachelor's thesis from a sociological perspective analyze sexuality in contemporary czech feature films. The film medium belong in sociology between the marginal area of research, especially in the Czech academic sphere. Therefore this thesis is trying to convince that it's reasonable to pursue this phenomenon with more intensity, because the given research can provide very stimulating results. The thesis explores the history and theory of sociological approaches to film. Furthermore it defines our theoretical and analytical view of human sexuality. Bachelor's thesis based on the social construction of reality and simultaneously rejects biological determinism. This theoretical background is created from the inspirational ideas of authors, such as are Michel Foucault, Jeffrey Weeks, Pierre Bourdieu and last but not least Laury Mulvey. From this theoretical basis it constructs consecutive methodological and analytical part. The thesis tries to reveal the dominant masculine and heterosexual ideology in the movies. Selected scenes are picked up to describe mechanisms (camera, editing, mise en scene…) which are used to construct sexuality and how the given ideology works in them.
