Komentovaný překlad: Sezession (DuMont Geschichte der Kunst in Deutschland, Robert Suckale, DuMont Literatur und Kunst Verlag, Köln 2005)

Abstract

Cílem této práce je předložit komentovaný překlad populárně-naučného textu z němčiny do češtiny. Text k překladu pochází z knihy DuMont Geschichte der Kunst in Deutschland prof. Dr. Roberta Suckaleho1 ; obsahem knihy jsou dějiny umění v Německu. Zvolená část textu se zabývá secesí, konkrétněji secesí mnichovskou a vídeňskou. Práce sestává ze dvou hlavních částí: překladu a komentáře k překladu. Ten zahrnuje analýzu předlohy podle modelu prof. The aim of this work is to present an annotated translation of popular expository text from German into Czech language. Text to be translated is from a book DuMont Geschichte der Kunst in Deutschland written by prof. Dr. Robert Suckale; content of the book is the history of art in Germany. The selected part of the text deals with Art Nouveau, Art Nouveau, more specifically, Munich and Vienna. The work consists of two main components: a translation and commentary on the translation. The analysis includes a template of model by prof. Dr. Christiane Nord, problems that I encountered in the translation, and the typology of translation shifts.
