Vliv lokální působnosti vybraných politických stran na jejich výsledky ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny

Abstract

1 Abstrakt Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat a zjistit, zda a případně jakým způsobem ovlivňuje působnost vybraných politických stran na lokální úrovni výsledky těchto stran ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny, které jsou z hlediska fungování České republiky klíčové. Teoretická východiska práce tvoří typologie, vznik a vývoj politických stran, na který navazuje vývoj stranického systému České republiky. Praktická část práce je strukturována do čtyř základních kapitol. V první fázi výzkumu je analyzována síla vztahu mezi volbami do Poslanecké sněmovny a do obecních zastupitelstev. Následuje stěžejní pasáž předkládané práce, která si klade za cíl zjistit, zda a případně do jaké míry má lokální působnost vybraných politických stran vliv na úspěšnost těchto stran ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny, a to v komparaci s dalšími proměnnými, které jsou pro vysvětlení volebního chování české společnosti významné. V rámci další pasáže je realizován prostorový regresní model, jehož hlavním smyslem je eliminace prostorové autokorelace dat. Práce je zakončena geograficky váženou regresí, která řeší problém prostorové nestacionarity, a která zároveň umožňuje vizualizaci regresních modelů na lokální úrovni. 1 Abstract The aim of this Master thesis is to analyze and find out whether and eventually in what way the attendance of the selected political parties on the local level influence their results in elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic which are crucial in terms of the function of the Czech Republic itself. The theoretical background of the thesis contains the typology, formation and development of political parties that are followed by the development of the party system of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is structured into four main chapters. In the first part of the research, the power of the relation between elections to the Chamber of Deputies and to the municipal councils is analyzed. This is followed by the core part of the submitted thesis that aims to find out whether and consequently to what extent the local attendance of the selected political parties influences the success of these parties in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies, particularly in comparison with other variables that are significant for the explanation of the voting behavior of the Czech society.
