Abstract

Úroveň plodnosti a účast žen na pracovním trhu ve vybraných státech Abstrakt Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat postavení žen v rodině a na trhu práce ve vybraných státech reprezentujících jednotlivé modely rodinné politiky. V souvislosti se specifickými charakteristikami vztahujícími se k určitým státům bylo v rámci některých modelů vybráno více zemí. Mezi analyzované státy patří Česká republika, Finsko, Francie, Itálie, Německo, Nizozemsko, Portugalsko, Švédsko a Velká Británie. Práce je zaměřena na porovnání postavení států s ohledem na úroveň plodnosti a zaměstnanosti žen, na podmínky pro skloubení pracovního a rodinného života a na postoje a názory obyvatel, jež se týkají problematiky genderové rovnosti, rovných příležitostí a zaměstnaných matek malých dětí. V první části práce jsou představeny změny v postavení žen a v rodinném chování, jež se odehrály v 20. století, a faktory, které ovlivňují úroveň plodnosti a participaci žen na pracovním trhu. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýze plodnosti, zaměstnanosti žen a vztahu mezi nimi a komparativní analýze podmínek pro sladění pracovního a rodinného života. Fertility level and labour force participation of women in selected countries Abstract The objective of this thesis is to analyze the position of women in the family and in the labour market in selected countries representing different models of family policy. More countries were selected within some models in connection with the specific features related to these states. The analyzed countries are the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Thesis focuses on comparing the position of countries with regard to the fertility level and female employment, to the conditions for the reconciliation of work and family life and to the attitudes and opinions of respondents concerning issues of gender equality, equal opportunities and mothers' employment. The first part presents the changes in the position of women and in family behaviour that took place in the 20th century and factors that influence fertility and labour force participation of women. The second part deals with analysis of fertility, female employment and the relationship between them and also deals with the comparative analysis of the conditions for reconciliation of work and family life.
