Psaní velkých písmen v samostatně vydaných českých Nových zákonech 15. a 16. století

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem psaní velkých písmen ve starých českých tiscích samostatně vydaných Nových zákonů. Pro tento výzkum bylo vybráno sedm Nových zákonů (jeden prvotisk a šest tisků ze 16. století), ze kterých byly analyzovány dva úseky. Metodicky vycházíme z článků Fidlerové, Dittmanna a Vladimírové (2010) a Fidlerové (2013) o používání majuskulí v raněnovověkých českých tištěných biblích. Zabýváme se velkými písmeny z lexikálního hlediska, podle slovních druhů. Substantiva, adjektiva a numeralie byly rozděleny do dílčích kategorií podle zmiňovaných studií a následně bylo vypočítáno procento majuskulí v každé z těchto skupin. Zjištěné skutečnosti jsou průběžně porovnávány s výchozími studiemi. Práce obsahuje množství grafů a tabulek, které přehledně podávají výsledky bádání. Oproti předcházejícím výzkumům jsme se zabývali i celky slov tištěnými dohromady s předcházející předložkou.

This thesis deals with the development of the capitalization in the old Czech prints of separately published New Testaments. Seven New Testaments (one incunabulum and six prints from the 16th century) were chosen for this research. Two excerpts were analysed from each of them. We use the method of the articles by Fidlerová, Dittmann and Vladimírová (2010) and Fidlerová (2013). These articles focused on the usage of capital letters in early modern prints of Czech Bibles. We deal with the capitals from the lexical point of view (according to parts of speech). Substantives, adjectives and numerals were divided into particular categories corresponding to the mentioned studies. Afterwards, the percentage of majuscules in each of these groups was calculated. The results are continuously compared with the initial studies. The thesis includes numerous graphs and tables which clearly present the discovered facts. In addition to the previous research we deal with the clusters of a word printed together with the previous preposition.
