Zámecká knihovna zámku Sychrov - historie a složení fondu

Abstract

in English: The topic of this Diploma Thesis is the Sychrov Castle Library, which belonged to the Rohan noble clan. The aim of this Thesis was to evaluate the proveniencial, thematic, linguistic and quantitative representation of individual titles. The introduction presents the aim of the work and its structure. The subsequent chapters focus briefly on the history of the Sychrov Castle and the history of the Rohans, mainly the Rohan-Guémené line, since the members of the clan who settled at the Sychrov Castle came from that line. Details are given about the representatives of the nobility clan who had substantial influence on the appearance and composition of the castle library. The fourth chapter is devoted to the Sychrov Castle Library itself and familiarises readers with catalogues, book quantities, document issue dates, information about the oldest and newest titles, the language composition of the library's collection and preserved exlibris, supralibros and ownership inscriptions. The most extensive chapter, the fifth one, focuses on the content characteristics of the Sychrov Castle Library's collection. v češtině: Tématem diplomové práce je knihovna zámku Sychrov, která patřila knížecímu rodu Rohanů. Cílem práce bylo vyhodnotit provenienční, tematické, jazykové i množstevní zastoupení jednotlivých titulů. V úvodu je vyložen cíl práce a její struktura. Následující kapitoly se stručně věnují historii sychrovského zámku a též historii rodu Rohanů, a to především linii Rohan-Guémené, neboť z této rodové linie pocházejí ti členové rodu, kteří se usadili na zámku Sychrov. Detailněji je zde pojednáno o těch reprezentantech rodu, kteří měli na tvář a složení zámecké knihovny podstatný vliv. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována samotné zámecké knihovně na Sychrově a seznamuje s katalogy, počtem knih v knihovně, roky vydání dokumentů, informacemi o nejstarších a nejmladších titulech, jazykovém složení fondu knihovny a dochovanými exlibris, supralibros a vlastnickými vpisky. Nejobsáhlejší pátá kapitola se zabývá obsahovou charakteristikou fondu zámecké knihovny na Sychrově. Šestá kapitola je věnována srovnání fondu sychrovské zámecké knihovny s knihovními fondy dvou jiných šlechtických rodů - rodu Beaufort-Spontin a rodu Mensdorff-Pouilly.
