Reflexe vnitřní situace v USA před 11. zářím 2001 na příkladu seriálu Simpsonovi

Abstract

Tato práce si klade za cíl ukázat, že příběhy animované rodiny ze Springfieldu, které od roku 1989 vyplňují televizní programy stanic po celém světě, nejsou jen čistě zábavnou podívanou pro děti a dospělé, ale že v nich lze vystopovat velké množství sociálních, politických a náboženských témat, která vzhledem k popularitě této televizní série mohla ovlivnit vývoj smýšlení již několika generací diváků. Tuto tezi práce potvrzuje na výskytu mnoha souvislostí mezi obsahem jednotlivých dílu a jejich společenským podtextem.

This work is showing that the adventures of animated family from Springfield, which are fullfilling TV programs all around the world since 1989, are not only an entertaining series for kids and adults, but that it also contains an important amount of social, political and religious issues, which, given to its popularity, could have influenced the development of its viewers' thoughts. This thesis is supported by showing the presence of a wide range of connections between the content of different episodes and their social context.
