Abstract

TITLE: Virtual Learning Environments and their usage for heterogeneous groups of students AUTHOR: PhDr. Jiřina Nováková DEPARTMENT: Department of Information Technology and Technical Education SUPERVISOR: doc. PhDr. Vladimír Rambousek, CSc. ABSTRACT: The content of the dissertation examines virtual learning environments in relation to the education of heterogeneous groups of students. This theme is expanded in the direction of the specifics and possibilities of adaptability and personalization in the context of learning in a virtual environment, particularly with regards to their potential to enhance the pedagogical effectiveness of teaching. The thesis analyzes the adaptability in a virtual learning environment and examines various determinants that influence the results of education in teaching heterogeneous groups of students. With the support of an empirical survey, the thesis explores different aspects of the students' heterogeneity and their influence on the students' progress and results of education in a virtual learning environment. Dané téma je rozvíjeno ve směru studia specifik a možností využití adaptability a personalizace v kontextu vzdělávání ve virtuálním prostředí, a to především z hlediska míry jejich potenciálu pro zvýšení pedagogické efektivity výuky. Práce analyzuje problematiku adaptability ve virtuálním vzdělávacím prostředí a zkoumá jednotlivé determinanty, které ovlivňují průběh a výsledky výuky při výuce heterogenních skupin v daném prostředí. S podporou empirického šetření práce zkoumá různé aspekty heterogenity studentů a jejich vliv na průběh a výsledky učení těchto studentů ve virtuálním vzdělávacím prostředí.
