Psychické prožívání neplodnosti a asistované reprodukce z pohledu neplodného jedince

Abstract

The aim of this dissertation was to find out how does a woman experience infertility and how do women experience the process of assisted reproduction, comunication with the personel in the centres of reproductive medicine, relationships with their surroundings, family and friends. This dissertation answers three main questions: How does a person experiences asisted reproduction? What kind of copying strategies they use to overcome the stress connected with assisted reproduction? How does an individual experience approach and communication skills of the personel of a centres of reproductive medicine. According to chosen topic of experiencing infertility I have chosen a qualitative research method in the form of case study. Basic strategy for sample selection was purposive (judgemental) sampling through centre of reproductive medicine. I have chosen grounded theory method for the data analysis. Standardized interview was made with every participant. Findings of this qualitative research brings the understanding to person experiencing infertility. Those findings will contribute to more empathy understanding to patiens and their partners during hard time in their life from health care profesionals working in centrs of reproductive medicine. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jak žena prožívá neplodnost, jak prožívali proces asistované reprodukce, komunikaci s personálem centra asistované reprodukce a vztah se svým okolím, rodinou a přáteli. Diplomová práce odpovídá na tři výzkumné otázky: Jak jedinci prožívají asistovanou reprodukci? Jaké používají jedinci copingové strategie k zvládání stresu spojeného s asistovanou reprodukcí? Jak jedinci prožívají přístup zaměstnanců center asistované reprodukce a komunikace s nimi? Vzhledem k zvolenému tématu prožívání neplodnosti, jsem zvolila typ kvalitativního výzkumu na případové studii. Jako základní strategii pro výběr výzkumného souboru jsem zvolila prostý účelový (záměrný) výběr prostřednictvím center asistované reprodukce. Pro analýzu a interpretaci dat jsem zvolila metodu zakotvené teorie. Ke sběru dat jsem si vybrala metodu polostrukturovaného interview. Výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu přinesly poznání v porozumění prožívání neplodnosti. Nabyté poznatky přispějí k většímu empatickému pochopení pacientů a jejich partnerů v jejich nelehkém období života ze strany zdravotníků a lékařů, kteří pracují v centrech asistované reprodukce.
