Kvalita života pacientů s idiopatickými střevními záněty

Abstract

THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WITH THE IFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE The term "quality of life" has been already mentioned in the 1920s. And it has been done so in connections with consideration about economic development and problem of government in the field of financial support of lower classes of society. In general, the study of the quality of life means searching and identifying which contribute to good and meaningful life and the feelings of human happiness. There are all kinds of definitions of the quality of life in special literature. But there is no any which would be generally accepted in the last thirty years. There are Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis in the group of the inflammatory bowel disease. The cause of these inflammations is not known and so they are called inflammatory. Both of the mentioned illnesses are appositely worked through in the theoretical part of my thesis together with brief description of the terms - health and quality of life. The aim of the empiric part of my work was to describe and analyze the quality of life of selected group of patients who suffer from the inflammatory bowel disease. KVALITA ŽIVOTA PACIENTŮ S IDIOPATICKÝMI STŘEVNÍMI ZÁNĚTY Termín "kvalita života" byl poprvé v historii zmíněn již ve 20. letech, a to v souvislosti s úvahami o ekonomickém vývoji a úloze státu v oblasti materiální podpory nižších společenských vrstev. Obecně řečeno, studium kvality života v současné době znamená hledání a identifikaci, které přispívají k dobrému a smysluplnému životu a k pocitu lidského štěstí. V literatuře existuje celá řada definic "kvality života". Neexistuje však ani jedna, která by byla v průběhu posledních třiceti let všeobecně akceptována. Do skupiny idiopatických střevních zánětů je řazena Crohnova nemoc a ulcerózní kolitida. Příčina těchto zánětů není zatím bezpečně známa, proto jsou nazývány idiopatické. Obě uvedené nemoci jsou výstižně vypracovány v teoretické části mé práce spolu se stručným popisem zdraví a kvality života. Cílem empirické části bylo popsat a analyzovat kvalitu života vybraného souboru pacientů, kteří trpí idiopatickými střevními záněty. Byly zkoumány tři oblasti kvality života - oblast fyzická, psychická i sociální. Doufám, že má práce dobře vystihuje kvalitu života všeobecně, popíše právě zmiňované onemocnění a výzkum poukáže na zajímavé skutečnosti.
