Abstrakt Teoretická část bakalářské práce předkládá srovnání vybraných problémů vývoje medicíny a problematiky zdraví a nemoci v určitém historickém období a v současnosti. Sleduje historický vývoj podpory zdraví v období starověku a středověku. Přibližuje historii klasické a alternativní medicíny. Mapuje příčiny vzniku nemocí, jejich rozvoj a rozmanitost v daných historických obdobích. Poukazuje na rozdílné přístupy lidí a společnosti ke zdraví a nemoci s ohledem k historii. Porovnání přístupů k alternativní medicíně a rozpory mezi alternativní a vědeckou medicínou. Výzkumná část se zabývá a mapuje pomocí dotazníkové metody, do jaké míry je budoucí střední zdravotnický personál ve výuce informován o antickém odkazu léčitelství. The aim of the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is to present a comparison of selected problems of the processing of medicine on one hand and the topic of health and diseases in the specific historical periods on the other hand. Besides, this thesis follows a historical development of the support the health care in the ancient and medieval periods. It conducts the survey of the causes of the illnesses, as well as their development and diversity in the selected historical periods. It points out the different approaches of people and the society in general to health and illnesses in the view of the historical background. In this context it presents a comparison of the approaches to alternative medicine and tries to find the differences of the alternative and scientific medicine. The research part of this thesis deals with the extent of the awareness of the antique legacy of the natural healing by medical workers, using the application of selected methods via questionnaire.
