Abstract

The Russian Nights of V. F. Odoyevsky Abstract The theme of this bachelor thesis is a book of Russian author and philosopher Vladimir Odoyevsky, who lived in 19th century in Romantic Period. This book was his most important work and he named it The Russian Nights. The symbol of this title and the others motives are part of this work, same as author's view on human being. Odoyevsky has different heroes with the same type of substance and for them he creates different situations, in which is formed the contrast of the brilliant mind of his main characters and ability to perform their talent. Readers can see heroes' way of living in society, when their extraordinary ideas have never realized. The type of hero - insane genius is a typical for Odoyevsky and this element was an inspiration for all great authors in Russian literature in 19th century. Ruské noci V. F. Odojevského Abstrakt Tématem této bakalářské práce je kniha ruského autora a filozofa Vladimira Odojevského, který působil v 19. století v období romantismu. Dílo bylo jeho nejdůležitějším počinem a nese název Ruské noci. Tato práce se zabývá symbolickým významem názvu a dalších motivů, stejně jako autorovým pohledem na člověka. Odojevskij má různé hrdiny se stejnou podstatou a pro ně vytváří různé situace, ve kterých vytváří kontrast mezi dokonalou myslí a možnostmi projevit svůj talent. Čtenáři tak mají možnost pozorovat život hrdinů ve společnosti, kvůli které nedokázali realizovat svoje neobyčejné myšlenky. Typ hrdiny - šílený génius je pro Odojevského typický.
