This bachelor thesis deals with the parents of the medically disabled children, in fact with the impact of the diagnosis on their psychology. This bachelor thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part is aimed at the parenthood and partnership. Furthermore, it describes the family of the disabled child and individual stages of their putting up with the demanding life situation. It characterizes four kinds of health disabilities which can be seen in chldren's families who were interviewed. The practical part describes the quality research itself which was aimed at the parents of the disabled child. The research is based on the semi-structured interviews which were led with four fathers and three mothers. The main aim appears to be the pointing out of the unique attitude of the mothers and fathers going through the psychological hardships of the diagnosis process of their children.
