Abstract

Předkládaná rigorózní práce se věnuje nárokům a specifickým faktorům, které ovlivňují psychickou adaptaci žen na onkologickou diagnózu "karcinom děložního hrdla." Podrobněji se zaměřuje na kvalitu života a posttraumatický růst pacientek ve fázi remise onemocnění. Teoretická část nejprve přibližuje charakteristiky nádorového onemocnění děložního hrdla s ohledem na prožívání pacientek. Dále uvádí téma jeho zvládání ve smyslu copingu a obranných mechanizmů. Následně rozpracovává psychologickou adaptaci na onkologickou diagnózu se zaměřením na další faktory související se společností, pacientkami a nemocí, spolu s problémy ve vyrovnávání se s ní. Poslední část tohoto oddílu uzavírá popis nároků a prožívání jednotlivých klinických stádií nádorového onemocnění pacientkami. Text se v kapitole o fázi zotavování a remise podrobněji věnuje teoretickému zázemí konceptů kvality života a posttraumatického růstu, včetně přehledu nástrojů pro jejich kvantitativní hodnocení. Empirická část mapuje podpůrné psychologické a další aspekty, které pomáhají ženám vyrovnat se s nádorovým onemocněním děložního hrdla. The presented thesis deals with psychological demands and specific factors of the adaptation to the oncological diagnosis "cervical cancer." The focus is on quality of life and posstraumatic growth of patients in the phase of disease remission. The theoretical part first introduces specifics of cervical cancer with consideration of patients' experience and then provides the issue of coping with the oncological disease in terms of coping and defense mechanisms. Then it elaborates the psychological adaptation to cancer disease with focus on other aspects linked to society, patients and disease altogether with problems in coping with oncological diagnosis. The theoretical part of the study is concluded with the description of demands and patients' experience in each clinical stage of the disease. The chapter of disease remis;sion is focused on theoretical background of life quality and posttraumatic growth concepts including an overview of tools for quantitative evaluation. The empirical part describes supporting psychological and other aspects, which help women to cope with cervical cancer.
