Muhammad Réza Pahlaví: perský šáh v exilu 1979 - 80

Abstract

Práce se věnuje období života íránského šáha Mohammada Rezy Pahlavího v letech 1979 - 1980, kdy pobýval v exilu. Cílem je především zmapovat etapu panovníkova života a poukázat na souvislosti s mezinárodním děním především v Spojených státech amerických, neboť americká administrativa měla značný vliv na události v šáhově životě v těchto letech. První část se zabývá nástupem dynastie Pahlaví a jejím působení v dějinách Íránu. Druhá část přibližuje exilová léta, kdy šáh musel často měnit místo svého pobytu, a to především díky složité mezinárodně-politické situaci po islámské revoluci v Íránu. Třetí část je stručným nástinem vývoje exilové vlády po šáhově smrti v roce 1980.

My thesis is dedicated to the life of the Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi between years 1979 - 1980, when helived in exile. The aim is to map this stage of the monarch's life and point out the important connections in the context of international affairs of that time, especially in the United States, as the U.S. administration had considerable influence on events in the Shah's life in those years. The first part deals with the onset of Pahlavi dynasty and its effect on the history of Iran. The second part presents exile years when the Shah had to frequently change his place of residence, mainly due to the complicated international political situation after the Islamic revolution in Iran. The third part contains a brief outline of the development of the exile government after the Shah's death in 1980.
