Abstract

Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést překlad vybraného textu v rozsahu 20 normostran z francouzského do českého jazyka a následně jej doplnit překladatelským komentářem. První částí této práce je překlad článku (La défaite était-elle inéluctable), který pojednává o příčinách německé invaze do Francie v roce 1940. Druhá část textu se zabývá analýzou originálu po stránce lexikologické, syntaktické a stylistické, typologií překladatelských problémů a metodou překladu, která byla aplikována. Komentář rovněž obsahuje konkrétní příklady z původního textu i z překladu.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to make a translation of a selected french text (of about 20 standard pages) and to add a translator commentary to it. First part of the thesis is the translation of an article (La victoire était-elle inéluctable) about causes of the german invasion to France in 1940. The second part deals with the analysis of the original text (from the point of view of lexicology, syntax and stylistics), translation problems and the method of translation used. The commentary contains examples form both the original and the translated text.
