Trestněprávní aspekty euthanasie ve vybraných evropských zemích

Abstract

Euthanasia is nowadays hot topic not only in terms of societal impact but also in terms of criminal law. This work is devoted to the introduction of the concept of euthanasia, its history and various forms of euthanasia. There is also a view of supranational institutions and organizations to euthanasia. A substantial part of the work is devoted to euthanasia legislation in selected European countries and their analysis. Attention is also focused on the criminal aspect of euthanasia in these countries. One of the final chapters looks back on medially well-known cases, which stirred up a debate on euthanasia. Euthanasie představuje v dnešní době aktuální téma nejen z hlediska společenského ale i z hlediska dopadů trestního práva. Tato práce se v úvodu věnuje pojmu euthanasie, jeho historie a dále jsou rozebrány různé formy euthanasie. Nechybí ani pohled nadnárodních institucí a organizací na euthanasii. Podstatná část práce je věnována právní úpravě euthanasie ve vybraných evropských zemích a jejich analýze. Pozornost je rovněž zaměřena i na trestněprávní aspekt euthanasie v těchto zemích.
