Komentovaný překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy "This Little Britain: How One Small Country Changed the Modern World"

Abstract

(česky) Tato práce si klade za cíl vytvořit překlad dvou kapitol z knihy This Little Britain a překlad pak okomentovat. Komentář se skládá z několika podčástí, a to ze zadání cílového textu, překladatelské analýzy podle Christiane Nordové, detailního popisu překladatelských problémů a jejich řešení a nakonec také z uvedení překladatelských posunů tak, jak je definuje Jiří Levý, se zdůvodněním, proč se dané posuny v překladu vyskytly. (in English): This bachelor thesis aims to translate two chapters of the book This Little Britain into Czech and to comment on this translation afterwards. The commentary includes the following parts: assignment for the translation, translation analysis of the source text based on the work of Christiane Nord, the description of issues arising during the translation process and possible solutions to these issues, and finally, the descriptions of the translation shifts as defined by Jiří Levý which are accompanied by the explanation why these shifts have occurred.
